Dr. Le Fur is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School, a faculty member at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, and the Director of analytical and radiochemistry at the Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation in Imaging (i3). The core of her background is in chemistry, radiochemistry and biomolecular imaging, with a specific focus on the development of molecular probes for PET and MR imaging.

Her research focuses on two main axes: 1) The development and translation of new imaging probes to interrogate the pathophysiology of diseases with an important diagnostic need such as inflammatory bowel disease and endometriosis, 2) Gaining a better understanding, at the molecular level, of the mechanisms of action and fate of imaging probes using elemental imaging and analytical chemistry. In parallel of her research, she contributes to the clinical translation of novel radiometal-based PET imaging tracers through her work at i3.
