The Optical Imaging Lab is developing noninvasive, nonionizing approaches to brain and breast imaging with near-infrared spectroscopy and diffuse optical tomography. Its researchers use a variety of state-of-the-art continuous-wave, frequency-domain and time-domain systems, designed in-house and custom-built to their specifications.
