We investigate spatiotemporal dynamics of functional brain connectivity between nodes of networks subserving top-down inhibitory control in normative children and neuropsychiatric developmental disorders (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders). The combined neuropsychological and brain imaging measures (MEG, EEG, fMRI) are used in task-evoked and resting-state paradigms. The immediate aim is to characterize endophenotype, the quantitative heritable trait associated with susceptibility to the disorder. The long-term goal is to inform the development of novel neuroimaging-brain-interface preventative approaches for children at-high-risk for OCD and ASD.
