Biomagnetism, which is the measurement and understanding of magnetic fields produced by the human body (and all living entities). Most effort, over many years, has been concentrated into the measurement of the magnetic field of the human brain in particular, where a measurement is called the magnetoencephalogram (MEG). Presently interested in combining MEG with other modes of brain imaging, such as EEG, MRI, and fMRI. Also specialize in the design and fabrication of magnetically-shielded rooms, in which the MEG is measured. Much involved in the design and operation of the magnetically-shielded room, here at the MEG facility.
