Biosketch
I am currently Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Northeastern University where I direct the Interdisciplinary Affective Science Laboratory. We combine experiential, behavioral, psychophysiological, and brain-imaging techniques with a grounding in neuroanatomy, behavioral neuroscience, and philosophy of science to study emotions: what they are, and how they function.
