The Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging located at the Massachusetts General Hospital invites applications from mid- and senior-level scientists interested in spending their sabbatical or fellowship year (or a part of it) investigating the neural bases of cognition.
The Center offers state of the art neuroimaging facilities in fMRI (1.5T, 3T and 7T), MEG, EEG, & NIRS, along with possibilities for clinical collaboration with faculty at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Opportunities include intensive training, hands-on experience in the various imaging techniques, imaging time, technical assistance with designing and running experiments and data analysis, collaboration with faculty in a wide variety of disciplines, and interaction with students and faculty from the numerous cognitive neuroscience, engineering and imaging science programs in the Boston area. Candidates will participate in the research activities of the Center, presenting seminars, sharing their expertise, and contributing to the development of creative ideas for new directions in cognitive neuroscience research.
